Frequently asked questions Questions

Here you will find the answers to the most frequently asked questions.

A certification is a qualification and expands your own methodological toolbox or understanding of a specific subject area. Agile certification is therefore recommended for all (specialists and managers) who work in an agile environment or who are about to undergo or are undergoing an agile transformation.
We offer both certification for Agile Scrum Mastering, Agile Scrum Foundation but also of course the Product Owner training courses. We also have training courses where you can obtain the PO certificate in a shortened training course (i.e. you attend a Scrum Master certification and can then apply for PO certification with a further day of training). Alternatively, we also offer role training as SAFe® training courses an: POPM, SSM, SASM.
As a rule, all our trainers are professionally qualified and have many years of practical experience. As a result, the training experience of the participants is usually very different from that of "pure trainers". Tailor-made workshops: We create customized Workshopswhich offer participants a deeper, practical experience of the agile concepts taught in our courses and also take into account the requirements of their own working environment.
For role-specific certifications, there are 2 options: directly on site, after the course as a paper-based exam or at home, within 24 hours after the respective course. For SAFe, you have 30 days to take the exam after completing the course and all SAFe® certification exams can be taken online, anytime, anywhere.
The short answer is that it depends on your own situation and interest. If I work in an environment where Agile methods are not used or will never be used, a different certification might cover my own requirements more effectively. If I work in an environment where one or more agile practices are already being used or where there are already some agile teams or at a company that is about to undergo a transformation or is in the middle of an agile transformation, then an agile certification is highly recommended. You get the most important, up-to-date information. You can expand your own toolbox and exchange ideas with other participants on the topic.
The period of validity of the SAFe Agilist certification is twelve months, starting from the date of certification. However, the validity period can be extended at the end of each validation period after payment of a fee or - in the case of an update in the current version - with a short online refresher on the Scaled Agile website.
