The certification exam places particular emphasis on the acceptance of Agile and Scrum in the working environment of the respective organization and on preparing participants for the role of "Scrum Product Owner".
Participants graduate directly at the end of the second day of the course with an internationally recognized EXIN Agile Scrum Product Owner exam.
Course content:
Module 1 - Agile approach:
- Basic agile concepts
- Explanation of the agile mindset and its contribution to predictability and flexibility
- Continuous process improvement
- Overview of other agile frameworks and methods such as Crystal, Extreme Programming (XP), DSDM, LeSS, SAFe and Kanban
Module 2 - The role of the Scrum Product Owner:
- Tasks and responsibilities of the product owner
- Other roles in Scrum (Scrum Master and development team)
Module 3 - Management of the product backlog:
- Development of a vision and its implementation in the product backlog
- Creation and management of user stories (epics, functional and non-functional requirements)
- Planning and monitoring the sprint backlog
- Communication of progress
- Ensuring implementation and control
Module 4 - Management of complex projects:
- Scaling agile projects
- Adaptation of Agile to different project types
- Management of complex product or service backlogs
Module 5 - Value enhancement:
- Adding business value to the project
- Importance of the customer perspective
Note: At the end of the second day, the 90-minute "Agile Scrum Product Owner" exam can be taken. The exam consists of 40 questions, of which at least 26 must be answered correctly in order to pass. The use of documents is not permitted and electronic aids are not allowed.
