The Agile Scrum Foundation course provides you with a comprehensive overview of the Scrum framework, the various roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner and Team), the Scrum events and meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) and the Scrum artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Transparency). The course optimally prepares you for the internationally recognized Agile Scrum Foundation exam.

● Mindset and advantages of agile methods
● The Agile Manifesto and its principles
● Other agile methods (Extreme Programming XP, DSDM, DevOps, Crystal Methodologies, LeSS, SAFe and Kanban)
● Key roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner and development team)
● Scrum events (time-boxing, sprints, sprint planning, daily scrum/stand-up, sprint review, retrospective and product backlog grooming/refinement meetings)
● Properties of backlogs and high-quality requirements (user stories and backlog items)
● Meaning of the Definition of Done
● Scrum methods and practices (principles of refactoring, pair programming, test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration)
● Scrum planning (creation of a product vision, product roadmap, release planning through to sprint planning)
● Concept of flexible and adaptable plans
● Principles of effort estimation (planning poker, triangulation and affinity estimation) and estimation in story points vs. ideal days/time
● Transparency and monitoring (Scrum charts and metrics)
● Application of Scrum in large and complex projects
● Collaboration of several Scrum teams (distributed across different locations)
● Different Scrum contract types
● Designing agile working environments
Note: At the end of the second day, you can take the 60-minute "Agile Scrum Foundation" exam. The exam consists of 40 questions, of which at least 26 must be answered correctly in order to pass. The use of documents is not permitted.
The Agile Scrum Foundation certification confirms participants' ability to work successfully and efficiently on the basis of the Scrum framework in the areas of project management, software development, IT service management and business management.
